Payment Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods, payment processing procedures, transaction security and refund-related payment information applicable to purchases made through the online store operated by cloud.as.

By placing an order through our store, you agree to the payment terms described below.

1. Company Information

The online store is operated by:

Company name: cloud.as
CVR number: 28348371
Responsible person: Carsten Handest Sjørup

Registered address:
Nyhavn 14, 3.
1051 København K
Denmark

Email: cs@cloud.as
Telephone: 23881199

2. Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on your location, order and available checkout options, we may accept the following payment methods:

PayPal

Customers may be able to pay securely through PayPal where this payment method is displayed during checkout.

PayPal payments are processed through PayPal's systems and are subject to PayPal's own terms, privacy policy and security procedures.

We do not require customers to provide their PayPal password directly to us.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery may be available for eligible orders and delivery destinations where this option is displayed during checkout.

When Cash on Delivery is selected, payment is made to the courier or delivery provider when the parcel is delivered.

COD availability may depend on:

  • Destination country or region;

  • Courier availability;

  • Product type;

  • Order value;

  • Delivery method; and

  • Other operational restrictions.

If Cash on Delivery is not displayed during checkout, it is not available for that order.

3. Payment Availability

Available payment methods may vary depending on:

  • Customer location;

  • Delivery country;

  • Currency;

  • Order value;

  • Product availability;

  • Shipping method;

  • Payment provider availability; and

  • Fraud-prevention requirements.

The payment options displayed during checkout are the payment methods currently available for your order.

4. Payment Authorization

Submitting payment information does not automatically mean that an order has been finally accepted.

For PayPal or other electronic payment transactions, payment may need to be:

  • Authorized;

  • Verified; and

  • Confirmed

before the order can proceed.

We may delay, decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because:

  • Payment cannot be verified;

  • Payment authorization fails;

  • The transaction appears unauthorized;

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected;

  • Order details appear inconsistent;

  • Delivery information cannot reasonably be verified; or

  • Processing the transaction would violate applicable law.

If a prepaid order is cancelled after payment has already been collected, an appropriate refund will be issued in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

5. PayPal Payments

Where PayPal is available, customers may be redirected to PayPal or an integrated PayPal checkout environment to complete payment.

PayPal may require customers to:

  • Log in to a PayPal account;

  • Confirm payment information;

  • Complete security verification; or

  • Approve the transaction.

PayPal may independently decline, delay or review a payment according to its own security procedures.

cloud.as cannot override an independent payment decision made by PayPal.

6. Cash on Delivery Payments

Where Cash on Delivery is available and selected:

  • Payment must be made when the parcel is delivered;

  • Payment is collected by the courier or delivery provider;

  • The recipient may need to provide identification or delivery confirmation;

  • The courier may require exact payment depending on local procedures;

  • Available payment methods for COD may vary by courier; and

  • Delivery may not be completed if payment cannot be collected.

Repeated unjustified refusal of Cash on Delivery orders may result in restrictions on future COD orders where permitted by law.

7. Payment Security

We take reasonable steps to support secure payment processing.

Payment transactions may be processed using Shopify, PayPal or other authorized service providers.

Depending on the payment method, security measures may include:

  • Secure checkout technology;

  • Encryption;

  • Payment authentication;

  • Fraud monitoring;

  • Transaction verification; and

  • Other security controls used by payment providers.

Customers should only complete payment through the official checkout process made available through our store.

8. PayPal Security

cloud.as will never ask you to provide your PayPal password by email or telephone.

For your security, you should never send us:

  • Your PayPal password;

  • Your account login password;

  • Security codes;

  • One-time authentication passwords; or

  • Other sensitive login credentials.

If you receive a suspicious message claiming to represent us, please contact us directly at:

cs@cloud.as

9. Order Confirmation

After successfully placing an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

The confirmation may contain:

  • Order number;

  • Products ordered;

  • Total amount;

  • Selected payment method;

  • Delivery information; and

  • Other relevant order details.

Please review your confirmation carefully.

If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at:

cs@cloud.as

10. Prices and Currency

Product prices are displayed through our online store.

The applicable currency and total amount payable will be displayed during checkout before you submit the order.

Depending on your payment provider, bank or PayPal account, you may also be subject to:

  • Currency conversion;

  • Exchange-rate adjustments; or

  • Other fees imposed independently by your payment provider.

Such third-party charges are outside the direct control of cloud.as.

11. Taxes and Additional Charges

Applicable taxes and other charges will be displayed during checkout where required and reasonably possible.

Orders delivered across national borders may also be subject to:

  • VAT;

  • Customs duties;

  • Import taxes;

  • Customs clearance charges;

  • Handling fees; or

  • Other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.

Please review our Shipping and Delivery Policy for additional information concerning customs and import charges.

12. Failed or Declined Payments

A payment may fail or be declined for reasons including:

  • Insufficient funds;

  • Account restrictions;

  • Incorrect payment information;

  • Security verification requirements;

  • Fraud-prevention controls;

  • Payment provider restrictions; or

  • Temporary technical problems.

If a PayPal payment fails, please review the information provided by PayPal and, where available, try another payment option shown during checkout.

We cannot override a payment rejection made independently by PayPal or another payment provider.

13. Pending Payments

Some transactions may remain pending while:

  • Payment authorization is completed;

  • The payment provider performs security checks;

  • Fraud-prevention checks are completed; or

  • The payment provider confirms the transaction.

Order processing may be delayed until the payment status has been confirmed.

14. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, please contact us promptly at:

cs@cloud.as

Please provide:

  • Your full name;

  • Order number;

  • Email address used for the order;

  • Payment date;

  • Amount charged; and

  • Relevant transaction information.

Do not send passwords or full account login credentials by email.

We will review the available transaction records and assist where appropriate.

15. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

We may perform reasonable checks designed to prevent:

  • Unauthorized purchases;

  • Identity misuse;

  • Payment fraud;

  • False Cash on Delivery orders;

  • Account abuse; and

  • Other suspicious transactions.

Where reasonably necessary, we may:

  • Temporarily place an order on hold;

  • Contact the customer;

  • Request additional order confirmation;

  • Reject a transaction; or

  • Cancel an order.

These measures are intended to protect customers, payment providers, delivery partners and our business.

16. Refunds

Refunds are processed in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

PayPal Refunds

Where an order was paid through PayPal, an approved refund will normally be returned through the original PayPal transaction or another legally appropriate method.

Refund processing time may depend on PayPal and other financial service providers.

Cash on Delivery Refunds

For Cash on Delivery purchases, refunds may require an alternative refund method because the original payment was collected physically by the courier.

Where necessary, our customer service team may contact you to request appropriate information required to complete the refund.

For your security, never send full payment-account passwords or login credentials by email.

17. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Payment providers and financial institutions may require additional time before the refunded amount appears in your account.

The time required for funds to become visible after processing may therefore depend on the relevant payment provider.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a problem with an order or payment, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

Please contact:

cs@cloud.as

When contacting us, please provide your order number and a clear description of the payment issue.

Nothing in this section limits any legal rights you may have with your payment provider or under applicable consumer law.

19. Payment Information and Privacy

Personal information relating to payments and transactions is processed according to our Privacy Policy.

Depending on the payment method selected, payment-related information may be processed or shared with:
